Mrs. Callen’s third-graders at Collier Elementary started the year with a lesson on teamwork and communication. They were challenged to “Save Fred,” a gummy worm stranded at sea. Using only two paper clips, they had to flip Fred’s boat (a cup) and secure his life preserver (a Life Saver). Every group worked hard, collaborated well, and successfully rescued Fred! #PerseverancePropelsProgress
