These students got their start through hands-on training at Bryant and Faulkner Career Technical Centers, Citronelle Center for Advanced Technology, and Alma Bryant High School’s Welding Program, and now they’re stepping directly into high-demand careers along the Gulf Coast.

Congratulations to the Scholars Bowl teams from Barton Academy for Advanced World Studies and Causey Middle School, which finished first and second, respectively, in the South Alabama Academic Competition Association Super Tournament held Monday at MCPSS Central Office. Barton defeated Causey in the final match to earn the title of Super Tournament champion, with both teams taking home hardware from the tournament and season.
