Students at several MCPSS schools have learned about and developed a love for art through a partnership with Amp Up Arts, a program of the Mobile Arts Council that brings artists into the schools. Local artist artist Hannah Georgina Legg has collaborated with students at George Hall Elementary on a mural gracing its main hallway, and is now back to help them create another masterpiece. Mobile County Public Schools Central Office outdid itself this year, donating 1,142 pounds of food in its annual Fall Food Drive for Feeding the Gulf Coast.
