Liam Norris, who will be an eighth-grader at Phillips Preparatory School this year, was honored this summer to receive the Space Academy for Leading Students in Alabama (SALSA) scholarship, a prestigious award funded by the Alabama Legislature. As one of only two students selected from each legislative district, Liam represented our area at a special session of Space Academy at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville.
