The Peer Helpers at Eichold-Mertz Magnet School of Math, Science and Technology turned March Madness into a slam dunk for service! They collected 296 boxes of cereal for students who may experience food insecurity this summer. They wrapped up the project with a little fun -- setting up their donations like dominos. Second-grader Arabella Stanford, whose 76 boxes were the most donated by a single student, had the honor of tapping the first box and the school's third-graders, who collected the most as a grade level, got to watch them fall. Great job! #LearningLeading #PerseverancePropelsProgress

Students from Castlen Elementary visited Alma Bryant High this week for a Teddy Bear Clinic, hosted by Bryant's HOSA and Health Science students. It was a fun, hands-on experience designed to introduce young students to the world of healthcare in a welcoming and engaging way. Each child received a stuffed animal and rotated through interactive stations, where they learned how to take vital signs, apply bandages, and care for their “teddy bear patient.” It not only helped ease fears about doctor visits and medical settings, but also gave Bryant students a chance to practice their skills, build confidence, and connect with the community. #LearningLeading #PerseverancePropelsProgress
