February is Career and Technical Education Month, and MCPSS has a wide range of CTE programs available to its students. Seniors at Baker High School are preparing for the PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification exam with a focus on infection control, including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), hand hygiene, transmission-based precautions, safe handling & disposal of linens and sharps, and recognizing & reporting infection. Students practiced donning and doffing their PPE, playing "Just Dance" while wearing it to simulate the physical challenges of working in PPE — reinforcing technique, safety, and teamwork. #LearningLeading #PerseverancePropelsProgress
