#TeamMCPSS added over 130 new employees at its recent MCPSS Career Fair. But we're not done. There are still jobs available at mcpss.com/jobopportunities. #LearningLeading

Congratulations to our countywide #LearningLeading Award winners: Amberly Hardy of Dodge Elementary, DeCari Carter of Forest Hill Elementary, Caitlyn Zeine of Phillips Preparatory, and Morghan Cooley of Davidson High.

The Murphy Four Arts Club entertained the audience at the #LearningLeading Awards with Broadway hits, including "On Broadway," "All that Jazz," and "One" from a Chorus Line (pictured here).

We had a wonderful time honoring students from all 90 of our schools at the #LearningLeading Awards. These students exemplify our slogan: Learning Today. Leading Tomorrow.

McDavid-Jones Elementary's National Elementary Honor Society enjoyed a fun-filled academic field trip recently to Colonial Forte Conde, History Museum of Mobile, and the Phoenix Fire Museum. What a wonderful way to learn about Mobile history!

Whitley Elementary's second-grade students recently used their math and reading skills to place a "Starbucks" order and purchase it. They first filled out their order form, which gave them the option to add toppings like marshmallows, whipped cream and/or a candy cane to their "latte." They then paid for their order and waited in line to pick it up. What a fun way to learn!

Congratulations to the Star Students who were recognized by the Southwest Mobile Chamber of Commerce: Zeve Merrill of Nan Gray Davis; Cooper Cox of Pearl Haskew; Travis Perry of Meadowlake; Karam Haifa of Griggs; and Bryson Ellingburg of Hollinger's Island.
