Congratulations to LeFlore Magnet High School's Law Academy, which recently received its Exploring: Discovering Your Future charter. The Exploring program is a national initiative designed to connect young people with business and community leaders. At LeFlore, it will provide authentic learning experiences that broaden students' perspectives and help them envision a future in law and related professions. Sherry Dillihay-McDade, who represents District 4, was chosen to serve as the President of the Mobile County Board of School Commissioners during its annual organizational meeting on Monday. Lonnie Parsons, who represents District 1, was chosen Vice President.
