Six Mobile County Public Schools counselors are being honored this year with RAMP Awards by the Alabama School Counseling Association. The RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) Award recognizes school counselors who implement a comprehensive, data-driven program designed to close achievement gaps and improve student outcomes through providing direct services.

This year's honorees are:
-- Nikki Dailey and Demetria Smith of B.C. Rain High School
-- Jennifer Feagin of Craighead Elementary
-- Zatavia Spears of Pillans Middle School
-- Buckley Freeman of Eichold-Mertz School of Math, Science & Technology
-- Amber Turner of North Mobile County K-8

They will receive their awards during the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) National Conference in New Orleans in July. Mobile County Public Schools congratulates them on this prestigious accomplishment.
