About 3,000 MCPSS graduates in the Class of 2025 accepted their diplomas during May in 13 ceremonies at the USA Mitchell Center, Citronelle High School and Augusta Evans Special School. They leave Mobile County Public Schools prepared and equipped for college or career.
The Class of 2025 earned an impressive $148 million in scholarships. Nearly 60 percent of the class earned at least one scholarship, an increase of nearly 5 percent over 2024. And that number included 650 students who are the first in their families to attend college, also a significant increase over 2024.
Many other graduates bound for the workforce have already earned career-specific credentials that will give them a head start in their new careers.
