Being awarded the Alabama State Department of Education Disney grant gave our PACE students an unforgettable opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom walls. Students were able to explore Disney parks while connecting their experiences to culture, innovation, and creativity. So proud of our students for their incredible achievements in the Evonik Essay Contest!
One winner from each grade level (K–5) was honored at a special event hosted by Evonik. Students enjoyed a trolley ride, were recognized for their visionary essays on what the world will look like in 50 years, helped plant an orange tree, and even placed their essays into a time capsule for the future.
