On Friday night, several of our Admiral Band 8th graders had the opportunity to perform with the Davidson High School band for their annual invitational game. This helps them get a feel for high school band. They performed in the stands and on the field for pregame. Peer Helpers at Denton Magnet School of Technology participated in the Coastal Cleanup this past weekend. 10 bags of refuse was collected along with TWO TV’s! Shout out to Girl Scouts of America for hooking us up with t-shirts, patches, and stickers! Great job Admirals!

Denton Technology Magnet Peer Helpers taught a Suicide Awareness & Prevention lesson to the entire student body. In addition to their lesson, they hosted a table at lunch where students can take a quiz relating to the presentation material and earn a Denton school colors VIP (Value in People) Bracelet. It's a Great Day to be an Admiral!!
