Congratulations to Hartlee Fore and Jordan Benoit for an outstanding achievement at the MCPSS Region 7 Technology Fair! 💻🌪️
The duo earned 1st Place in the Web Design I category, showcasing not only their technical skills but also their creativity and purpose-driven work at Alma Bryant High School.
During the competition, Hartlee and Jordan confidently presented their website to the judges, walking them through their design process, development, and overall vision. They highlighted their individual portfolios, explained the challenges they faced, and demonstrated how they problem-solved along the way—showing true professionalism and preparation.
Their project, Canes Closet, is centered around a meaningful mission: providing affordable, previously loved clothing to female students on campus. Through their website, they are creating a platform that promotes accessibility, confidence, and sustainability within our school community.
Looking ahead, their goal is to expand the reach of Canes Closet, ensuring that even more students are aware of and able to benefit from this incredible resource. Their work is a perfect example of how innovation and compassion can come together to make a real difference.
We are proud of Hartlee and Jordan for representing Bryant with excellence and for using their talents to positively impact others.

Parents, our counselors will be here 3 nights to answer any questions about your student's schedule options for next year. We are aware of a Snapchat post that has been shared multiple times and has caused concern within our school community. Our administration has been working closely with MCPSS investigators to review the situation. At this time, there is no viable threat to our campus.
We ask that you please speak with your students about the seriousness of creating or sharing posts that may cause alarm or disrupt the school environment. Posts of this nature are taken very seriously, and such behavior will not be tolerated.

Anyone going to the Final 4 trip needs to get the money in by Wednesday, before the end of the day. The cost is $25 per student. You will turn your money and form in to Ms. Huddleston on B Hall!

We will host a livestream event on our campus for the Final 4 event for those who want to watch the game live in the auditorium. This will be for Alma Bryant students only. The cost of the ticket will be $5 a student. Tickets will be on sale Tuesday and Wednesday during lunchwaves.

There have been talks on social media of a walkout for a political protest here on our campus. We want to remind everyone that our campus is a place for learning, growth, and respect for others. While we recognize and support your First Amendment right to express your views, school is not an appropriate place for protests that disrupt the educational environment or result in missed class time. With that said, leaving class without permission and skipping are both grounds for disciplinary action.

Our priority is maintaining a safe and focused atmosphere where every student has the opportunity to learn without interruption. If you have concerns or feel strongly about an issue, we encourage you to use respectful and appropriate channels to share your voice, the school setting is not that place.
