Denton's 6th grade history classes are engaging in some fun learning activities while learning about the Vietnam War. In Dr. Kerr's class students gathered for "story time" to do a book study on the war and one of Denton's scholars, Madalin Gerald, brought in a photo and news clipping about her Great Grandfather's multiple service awards from the Vietnam War and one particular battle that was depicted in the movie "We Were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson. #AdmiralStrong #GrowingGreatness
