Hands-on learning rolling into our campus! 🚛
Our Commercial Transportation students had a great opportunity today as Kody Dunn from Legacy Cartage brought his truck to campus for an up-close learning experience.
Students learned about the importance of pre-trip inspections, what to look for to ensure safety on the road, and the key maintenance checks required to keep a truck running efficiently. Mr. Dunn also shared valuable insight into the real-world costs and responsibilities that come with maintaining a commercial vehicle.
A special thank you to Mr. Dunn from Legacy Cartage for taking the time to invest in our students and provide this real-world experience!

Our students are planning for the future! 👏
Current 10th and 11th graders recently had the opportunity to tour the Bryant Career Tech Center, where they explored a wide range of hands-on CTE programs and career pathways.
From seeing real classrooms in action to learning about different career options, students walked away with a clearer vision of what they might want to pursue next year. Experiences like this help them make informed decisions and take the next step toward their future goals.
Students must apply to enroll in the Bryant Career Tech Center. Applications are now open, and the link is posted in grade-level Schoology groups. If students have trouble with the application, they can see Mrs. Pippin, the career coach.

Real-world learning in action! 🚛📦
Students in the Logistics Academy recently had the opportunity to tour Educators Resource in Theodore, where they got an inside look at how a warehouse operates day-to-day.
From receiving and inventory to picking, packing, and shipping, students learned about the full process that keeps operations running smoothly. They also explored the machinery, automation, and key roles that make a warehouse efficient and successful.
Not sure what Educators Resource is? Many educational and office supplies ordered from major online retailers like Amazon and Walmart are packaged and shipped directly from their facility right here in Theodore.

A group of 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students had an incredible experience at Maritime Career Discovery Day! ⚓️
Students attended an informational session titled "All about the Port: Ships, Cargo, and Seafarers," then connected with local representatives to explore maritime businesses, organizations and government entities in the Mobile area. These conversations gave them valuable insight into the wide range of maritime careers available right here in our community.
They also had the opportunity to visit the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf, where they explored exhibits and gained a deeper understanding of the maritime industry and what careers in this field can look like.
It was a great day of learning, exploration, and future career inspiration!
