Today a selected group of 8th graders from our SMS Bulldog We Build It Better classes had the opportunity to go to the Faulkner Career Tech Center. Each student learned from various interactive experiences in the Be Pro Be Proud Alabama truck. These hands-on simulators allowed them to explore high-demand career pathways. In addition, students were able to tour the Faulkner Career Tech Center and looked in on the Aviation Manufacturing, Health Sciences, and Early Childhood Education classrooms. We are proud to announce that Rosalie’s artwork was selected as the official cover design for the 2025–2026 Semmes Middle School Yearbook! Earlier this year, Rosalie won the schoolwide yearbook art competition with her creative and Bulldog-inspired design that truly captures the spirit and memories of SMS.

As the winner of the competition, Rosalie received a FREE yearbook to celebrate her accomplishment and lasting contribution to this year’s publication.
