We had a great Homecoming week last week. Pictures are on our Social Media pages & Website. This week, all students should be back in their school uniform everyday.
Progress reports were given to students last Monday. If you did not receive a Progress Report, we can print one for you or email it to you.

The Homecoming Dance is Friday in the Gym from 5:30-8:30.
All tickets can be purchased on GoFan. Homecoming tickets will not be sold at the door and cash will not be accepted. Food and photos from the 360 Booth are included.

1st Quarter Week 5 Announcements from Scarborough
This is Homecoming Week!
We have events each day of the week which culminates with the Homecoming Dance on Friday. Purchase dance tickets on GoFan. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Students misbehaving will not be allowed to attend the Dance or Pep Rally.
Each day has a different theme. Students are can dress out for each day according to the theme. The following items are not allowed to be worn: hats, hoods, shorts, slides.

The Homecoming Dance is Friday September 12th. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan only. Tickets will not be sold at the door and cash will not be taken at the school. Purchase tickets for $40 now, or $50 on Monday.
We hope you had a good Labor Day. Please see the green weekly schedule of events for this week. Thursday will be the last day to place an order for a sweatshirt.
Homecoming is next week. Please see the attached schedule of events. Homecoming Dance Tickets are on sale now. We will have food, music, a 360 Photo Booth, and more. Tickets can be purchase at https://gofan.co/app/school/AL73358.
Grades for the 1st half of the quarter will lock on Friday. Students will receive Mid-Quarter Progress Reports on Monday Sept. 8.

The 7th & 8th Grade School Showcase and Open House is Tuesday at 5:30. You will be able to meet the teachers, see the school, and learn about the programs we offer. Please join us in the cafeteria. We will have refreshments, raffles, and one students will win an iPad.
Bus Riders: Make sure you are seated and following the bus drivers instructions. Students will be removed from the bus for misbehaving.

Join us Tuesday August 19th for our 6th grade School Showcase. Parents, this is your opportunity to see the school, meet the teachers, and learn about the programs we offer.
There will be performances from the band, cheerleaders, & LOTC.
We will start in the cafeteria at 5:30pm. Refreshments will be served and we will have raffles and giveaways. A lucky student will win an iPad!
The 7th & 8th grade showcase will be August 26th.
School starts tomorrow.
The doors will open at 7:00 and the Tardy Bell rings at 7:20
Registration will start at 8:00am and end at Noon. If your child does not have a schedule in Schoology, that means that are not registered. Please bring paper copies of the required documents and complete online registration.

Please go to our website and click the link for bus stop information if you need help with a bus. Car riders can be dropped off at 7am and must be picked up by 2:35. Car Riders should wait in the front of the school for their rides. If they walk down the street, they cannot come back on campus.

Makeup School Registration:
Thank you to everyone that has registered. Be reminded that ALL students must register for school. New and returning students must register and we will have a makeup registration Friday August 1st starting at 9am. If you have not registered, please come Friday. We will not register during school on the first day of school. You will have to come after school between 3-5 pm.

Stanley Cups will not be allowed.
Backpacks must be clear-no mesh.
Outerwear must be green, gray, white, or black.
3 ring binders are not allowed this year.
Registration for the 2025-26 School Year will be held this week on Wednesday and Thursday from 9am - 2pm. ALL STUDENTS MUST REGISTER AND PARENTS MUST BRING THE CORRECT DOCUMENTS, We will not register students during school on the 1st day of school. If you do not register this summer, you will have to register from 3pm-5pm on the 1st day of school.
MCPSS Registration Changes for 2025-26
Beginning with the 25-26 school year, MCPSS requires all students to show new proofs of residence. These proofs are now required every year.
Two Current Proofs Of Residence Are Required: One proof that reflects your physical address and one proof from a
utility company or one of the options from List 2.
Required: One (1) proof that reflects physical residence.
Property Tax Records or Deeds
Tax receipt record
deed
homeowners insurance policy
mortgage statement
Apartment or House Lease
Apartment or house rent receipt / Apartment or house lease
renters insurance policy, or housing agreement
All dollar amounts are to be concealed
