Students from Semmes Elementary recently demonstrated outstanding creativity, innovation, and technical skills at the Region 7 Technology Fair, competing against 422 students from across the region. Our students represented the school with excellence in a variety of categories including digital photography, multimedia, robotics, video production, and multidimensional design.
Several Semmes Elementary students earned top placements in their divisions, and many will have the exciting opportunity to advance to the ACTE State Technology Fair.
Grades 3–4 Results
Our younger competitors made a strong showing across multiple categories:
- Digital Photography: Riley Hill – 3rd Place
- Multidimensional Design: Madison Smith – 1st Place
- Multimedia: Paisley Turner – 3rd Place

These achievements reflect the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our students, as well as the guidance and support of their teachers and families. The Region 7 Technology Fair challenges students to think critically, solve problems, and showcase their skills using technology in meaningful ways.
