The magnet school focusing on math, science and technology is the 14th MCPSS school to win the Blue Ribbon, which is the highest honor given by the U.S. Department of Education to public and private schools.

AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM SUPERINTENDENT CHRESAL THREADGILL CONCERNING THE REMAINDER OF THE 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey and State Superintendent of Education Dr. Eric Mackey announced today that schools in Alabama will not be reopening for traditional face-to-face schooling for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. However, we will have alternative schooling in place beginning after spring break.
