JROTC cadets compete in Raider Challenge

Army JROTC cadets compete in Raider Challenge.

Teams of Army JROTC cadets from 10 high schools competed in Mobile County Public Schools’ first-ever Raider Challenge.

The challenge featured an obstacle-filled run, an “escape” obstacle course, a relay, and a medical evacuation. Students raced through the woods at Bryant Career-Technical Center in Irvington, climbed walls, jumped through tires, crawled through the mud and carried medical equipment and ruck sacks.

The obstacle courses were built by students at Bryant Career-Technical Center.

Theodore won the competition with Murphy coming in second. 

Other teams participating were from: Baker, Blount, Bryant, Chickasaw, LeFlore, MGM,Vigor and Williamson.
