When a student or employee is exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19 - which the Centers for Disease Control states is being within 3 feet (for students) or 6 feet (for adults) of that individual for 15 minutes during a 24-hour period - the school will ask the exposed individual to take a quarantine. This is all based on guidelines from the CDC and the Alabama Department of Public Health. Click on the document below to read that guidance.
