Backpack ACT (2017-19)

Provides awareness of the possible consequences of back pain and injury by carrying backpacks that are too heavy or worn incorrectly.

Sunscreen ACT (2017-278)

Sunscreen ACT (2017-278): Students are allowed to possess and apply FDA regulated over-the-counter (OTC) sunscreen while at school and school related events. If a student, parent or guardian request that a school employee apply the sunscreen, an OTC Parent-Prescriber Authorization Form (PPA) must be provided to the school nurse with a parent/guardian signature.
