Special Authorization
A Special Authorization for School Enrollment Application must be completed in the Division of Student Support Services:· Temporary School Guardianship · Advanced Enrollment · Non-Resident Enrollment · Birth Certificate Extension.  Parents are urged to read all information carefully before completing and signing the Special Authorization application. Parents should note the space availability requirement for temporary school guardianships and non resident approval. This provision will be closely monitored and enforced for the 2007-2008 school year. Regulations limit the number of students in each classroom; therefore, approvals will be limited to spaces available after the students who reside in the school zone are served.

Procedure for Applying for Special Authorization

  • Complete the Special Authorization form, including all information in the box at the top of the form, the area checked, and the area in the bottom left corner. The student’s social security number is required.
  • Read all information on the back of the form and sign in the appropriate spaces.
