QUALIFICATIONS |
Must be a high school or trade school graduate from a regionally accredited school or have GED equivalent.
Must have five (5) years of experience in plumbing trade or an equivalent combination of training and experience. May be required to pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test. Must possess a Journeyman’s License in Plumbing or ability to obtain. Must have knowledge of practices, methods, materials, and tools of boiler repair and maintenance, and plumbing. Must be familiar with the National Plumbing Code. Must have the ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions. Must be skilled in the use and care of tools, material, and equipment of the trade. Must possess a valid Alabama Driver’s License. May be required to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License. Must be insurable as determined by an investigation by MCPSS personnel into private and business driving records within any consecutive three-year time frame. |
SALARY RANGE | Beginning pay - $38,052.00 |
