Clark-Shaw teachers win FFT grants

Posted by Marcie McNeal in Schools  |  Comments (3)

Fund for Teachers (FFT) provides educators, possessing a broad vision of what it means to teach and learn, the resources needed to pursue self-designed professional learning experiences. FFT grants are used for an unlimited variety of projects; all designed to create enhanced learning environments for teachers, their students and their school communities.
Three teachers at Clark-Shaw Magnet School received grants this year. Ms. Sondra Manatis has received a grant to research in France the impact of Nazi occupation, the Resistance Movement, the Holocaust and the Battle of Normandy. Mrs. Ashley Daigle and Mrs. Nicole MacDougall applied as a team and will be attending the Robotics Academy in Pittsburg, PA, as well as, purchasing VEX Robotics and Competition Kits to be used with Clark-Shaw students.
Congratulations to these innovative teachers!
