Baker wins Jubilee BEST's competition

Posted by Marcie McNeal in Schools  |  Comments (1)

Baker High School won first place against other area high schools in the Jubilee BEST's Spring Competition.

Baker students presented with their robotic inventions in a timeframe of 8 weeks to modify their robot from the fall competition.  In addition, their presentations had to be similar to those given on the Shark Tank, where investors offer money to help in the advancement of the product.

Judges offered Baker $2.2 million dollars of pretend  money and they were able to spend it on various items in Jubilee BEST’s Spare Parts Shop. The team's Robot outscored every team at the competition in all 5 rounds.  Congratulations to the Baker High School team: Ian Hutley, Sam Mondier, Rohit Kudumula, Sophia Webster, Caleb Hutley, Keaton Meredith, ,Kayla Tomlinson, and Nolan Clark.

Congratulations robotics students! I am so proud of all the hard work. I'm especially proud of Rohit Kudumula, a former Dodge student.
