Having reviewed the list of applicants for the school board vacancy and persuing their qualifications; I urge and implore the board to select Ms. Harrietta Eaton to fill this vacancy.

This request is maded based upon her impecable credientials locally, nationally and globally.  She has had lucrative succes in developing programs to meet the needs of education on a communal, political and business oriented basis.

My endorsement is made upon the basis of being a product of the Mobile County Public School System and having been employed by the system as a teacher and administrator for thirty seven years.

Harrietta Eaton is extremely qualified for a seat on the board of MCPSS. Her background which includes founding and serving as the CEO of Corro-Metrics, Inc., key civic leadership roles at the Mobile Chamber and nationally as Vice Chair of Public Affairs for a 30,000 membership association of corrosion engineers, speaks to her credibility and accomplishments. These milestones coupled with her local education and community service make this native Mobilian the ideal candidate to help expand collaboration between the business and education sectors in our community.

I have known Harrietta Eaton since her days on the staff of the city of Prichard.  We worked together on several community projects supporting schools and she was extremely helpful in every regard.  Articulate, bright, resourceful, and energetic are words best describing Harrietta.  She would be an excellent choice for the school board.
