Calloway-Smith robotic team earns two awards in school’s 1st competition

Posted by Marcie McNeal in Schools  |  Comments (1)

The Calloway-Smith Robotics team proved to be competitive among other schools from the Mobile County and other counties from southwest Alabama at the B.E.S.T competition at the U.S.A Mitchell Center.

This was the first time Calloway-Smith Middle was represented in a robotics competition. The Robotic-Wildcats received two awards for its hard work and preparation. They won the Blood, Sweat, and Duct Tape Award and the Heart of Jubilee Award. The student body is very excited for their Robotic-Wildcats and its sponsors!

Congratulations to the team and teacher sponsors: Mrs. Jones, Ms. Dotson, Mrs. Sharma, Mr. Moore and Mr. English. Great Job
