Emotions and pride were high during the annual JROTC Brigade Promotion Ceremony held in the MCPSS board room September 6.

Parents, friends and staff members filled the room to watch the best of the best cadets in our JROTC programs receive their promotions. The following cadets were promoted.

Patrick Anderson from Theodore High School was promoted to Cadet Colonel and designated Honorary Army JROTC Brigade Commander of the MCPSS.

Orlanda Jackson from Davidson High School was promoted to Cadet Commander and designated Honorary Navy Brigade Staff LNO of the MCPSS.

Brandon Light from Baker High School was promoted to Cadet Colonel and designated Honorary Army JROTC Deputy Commander of the MCPSS.

Bryce Mayer from Montgomery High School was promoted to Cadet Colonel and designated Honorary Army JROTC Deputy Bridge Commander of the MCPSS.

And Chayse Teague from Baker High School was appointed as Honorary Army JROTC Brigade Command Sergeant of the MCPSS.

Congratulations to these fine men and women that represent their schools and the entire school system with integrity, intelligence and honor.
