I totally agree with annette, having them at murphy at 7am to get to shaw at 730 am when school isnt taking into 830 seem like you have a lot of kids sititng idling around.

Now that we have made the transition with all grade levels, is it possible that we can get the pick up or dismissal time adjusted slightly to alleviate our students being in holding areas in the morning for nearly an extra hour a day?  This is not instructional time and the students, parents and staff are absolutely wore out with the extended schedule...Thirty minutes either way would help tremendously...We lose their attention span by 2:30 everyday...

I have a murphy senior who only needs one credit, I have tried to contact Murphy admin about offering online classes for senior only. We are hearing rumors this is possibility due to over crowding at Shaw. I was trying to find out if this is possibility and  why was it not mentioned at meetings when parents are present??

thanks ,

I have a senior murphy student who only needs one credit to graduate , she was told they will offer online classes for seniors and I have made several attempts to contact Murphy admin but no luck so far. Is there any info on this or is this just rumor? I was very confused as to why this was not mentioned at any meeting that i have been too.

I am a Murphy parent and have a question concerning the transportation setup. For those students that already ride the bus from set bus stops, will they be transported directly to the Clark- Shaw campus or will the buses still be taking them to the Murphy campus where they will then transfer to another bus?

Dear Ms.Peek,

I am a concerned parent of a Clark-Shaw Student. I was at the meeting.I didn't appreciate how the parents were blown off with no questions answered. My concern is my daughter has been put in the media lab for her homeroom classroom. She tells me that there is barely elbow room!!! I am not as concerned about her homeroom as I am the crusty, rusty, transportation building she has to use for at least 3 classes. Why didn't the Clark students get nice, clean portables? As I remember correctly, this was never mentioned in the meeting.I'm all about helping Murphy, but it seems as though our students are getting the short end of the stick. Hopefully this will not jeapordize my daughter's or any other Clark students ability to learn.

Sincerely,

Christa Evans
