In an effort to continue to bring the public into public education the Mobile Area Education Foundation (MAEF) will host 80 by 20 Food and Fundraising Day Wednesday, November 14 at nine local restaurants. A portion of the money earned will benefit the teaching and learning programs for Mobile County Public School students as MAEF and the Mobile County Public School System (MCPSS) work towards graduating 80 percent of all students by 2020
80by20: Graduating READY is a community engagement initiative to raise the graduation rate of the Mobile County public schools to 80% by the year 2020. MAEF has taken on an economic development challenge to better our public schools and graduate all students career and college ready for a 21st century workforce.
