Meadowlake Elementary School is proud to celebrate an amazing honor bestowed upon one of its 4th grade teachers - Mrs. Jessica Ellzey. Mrs. Ellzey was recently selected as the elementary school science recipient of the 2012 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). Mrs. Ellzey is among other select state finalist for the national award.
PAEMST is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a teacher. It is wonderful to know that the state and country are recognizing her for her ability and dedication in educating students as well as her leadership and innovative teaching practices. As a recognized educational leader, Mrs. Ellzey will now be presented with opportunities to participate in educational programs and decisions statewide.
It is with great honor that we recognize and celebrate Mrs. Ellzey's distinguishable service and award. Congratulations Mrs. Ellzey! We are completely thrilled to cheer you on this journey!
