Citronelle High School is seeing red

Posted by Comm. Dept. in Schools  |  Post a comment

On behalf of the American Heart Association and in honor of Brent Voiles, the Citronelle High School NHS in conjunction with Student Council and HOSA is sponsoring a Red Out for the September 21st Citronelle football game.

This Red Out will promote awareness of Cardiovascular Disease, raise funds to fight the nation’s number one cause of death, and increase the awareness of becoming an organ donor.

Citronelle is inviting everyone to please consult with your team, group or organization to determine if you would like to join in the effort. The Citronelle High School football team will be wearing red wrist sweatbands and the cheerleaders will hold a Red Out pep rally.

T-shirts will be on sale at the school until September 12 for $7.  Bracelets will also be sold for $2.   The school is inviting the community to get involved in this tremendous undertaking and help support the students' effort to raise awareness.
