In September 2011, North Mobile County Middle School formed a robotics team, they call Titan Tech. With the help of Principal Randy Campbell, PACE Teacher Hailey Lovvorn, and Mentor Engineer Paul LePiane the team has grown to 36 members and has competed in a local and regional competition.

On October 29, 2011 the team, Titan Tech, placed 3^rd in the robot category at the Jubilee BEST Robotics Competition at the USA Mitchell Center. This victory advanced them to the South’s BEST Regional Robotics Competition at Auburn University. On December 2^nd and 3^rd the team competed against 50 high school and middle school teams which were from 7 states across the U.S. The team finished in the top 25 and placed 19^th out of 50 in the category of robot performance.
