Congratulations to the North Mobile County Middle School Lady Titans Volleyball team for completing a perfect season.  They did not loose a single game or match the entire season and through the Division 1 MCPSS championship game against Washington Middle School. 

NMCMS Prinicpal, Randy Campbell was very excited for the team, "This is special.  These girls worked very hard to get to this level and Coach Leffard has led them all the way."  The girls completed their season undefeated winning a total of 33 games and 13 matches.  "This is the second year in a row that they have won the county championship and they have gotten noticably better each year," said Mr. Campbell. 

Coach Samantha Leffard has coached the volleyball team for the past three years at NMCMS.  The first year they were competative and won the majority of thier games but did not qualify to play in the championship game.  Last year they were much more competative and ended the season in second place behind Clark Middle School but defeated Clark for the championship.  This year, the Lady Titans have dominated most of their opponents, including wins against Division 2A and 3A opponents. "Focusing on the fundamentals and a lot of hard work pays off" says coach Leffard.  "I am very proud of the girls as a whole.  They worked together all year, stayed focus, maintained a positive chemistry among themselves and had the one common goal of winning a second consecutive championship."

The members of the 2011 Division 1 MCPSS Volleyball Cahmpionship Team are (7th Graders) Amber Bolden, Kirstin Bunch, Kelsey Carpenter, Taylor Cross, Jayda Harris, Savannah Jordan, Brookley Knowles, Jailey Mann, Bailey Sutterfiels, (8th Graders) Maylayne Barfoot, Katie Clearman, Katie Hale, Cristen Oceom, Morgan Walley, and Brooke White.
