NBC News will convene the largest gathering of teachers from across the country for the second-annual nationally televised "Teacher Town Hall." This special event will be held on Sunday, September 25th, and broadcast live on MSNBC at Noon/ET.

Eduators let your voices be heard. As hundreds of teachers get together in-person at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, NBC News is also inviting teachers from across the country to join the conversation online. News anchor, Brian Williams will be hosting the forum which will include a live chat using their NEW feature the "Teachers' Lounge", EducationNation.com's teachers-only online forum. The Teachers' Lounge will open in early September to get the conversation started leading up to the Teacher Town Hall.

I think this is a great opportunity, I have 59 innercity 8th graders in a classroom, we did not meet AYP after 2 years of improving, NO HELP, a lot of pressure to make AYP ? How?
