On Thursday, April 22, 2010, Alabama State University made one of two stops from the Presidential Transformational Tour for Mobile County at C.F. Vigor High School. To celebrate the evolution of a better, brighter ASU, President Dr. William H. Harris and the ASU Campus Road Team will be touring selected schools in Huntsville, Birmingham, Dothan, Mobile, and Montgomery. As the tour bus arrived t
he team was greeted by the Vigor High School Marching Band and Cheerleaders in the front of the school campus. After a brief introduction by Mrs. Devin Sutton, ASU Recruiter, juniors and seniors
were delighted to observe a theatrical presentation from the College of Performing Arts. Students were dismissed to attend a college fair in the gymnasium where each college was represented. The ASU Road Team then presented students with information regarding each college. After the college fair, the ASU Road Team was received in Vigor's media center where refreshments were served. Thanks ASU!

what a great honor it is to have the President and his ambassdors embrace Vigor High School. It is certainly a privilege for our students to see positive and good things that are happening at the HBCU's in America. They were given a glance of one of the best kept secrets in Alabama. Hopefully, students will take what they saw and use it to their advantage. .
