Forest Hill Motivates with a Pie Throwing Pep Rally

Posted by Comm. Dept. in Schools  |  Comments (2)

Forest Hill principal, Mrs. Smith decided to provide her elementary students with motivation for the recent high stakes testing. For the weeks of testing, students who were on time, ready to work and tried their very best on the test each day were given daily entries for a drawing. This drawing entitled them access to a celebratory pep rally featuring Blount High School's band, cheerleaders, flag girls, and dance team.

The highlight of this activity was that 5 lucky students drawn from each grade level would have the opportunity to hit their esteemed principal in the face with a cream pie in front of the entire school. Mrs. Smith showed her good sportmanship and willingness to participate in just about anything to stress the importance of our state ARMT and SAT testing!
