Posted by Comm. Dept. in Schools  |  Comments (7)

In April, students from Bryant High school and the community helped the Youth Activist Coalition clean abandoned graves at Oddfellows Cemetery in Irvington.

The students worked for three hours raking and removing debris from several graves.  Students removed 46 bags of leaves and other debris.

Giving something back to your community....Now that is just as important as any state content standard. It's obvious that these students have been taught very well. Please continue to make a difference.

Thanks for caring about our community. It is a true blessing to see young people willing to selflessly serve and make their city a cleaner place.
