Career Day at Dunbar

Posted by Comm. Dept. in Schools  |  Comments (2)

Dunbar School for the Creative and Performing Arts recently held its Second Annual Career Day. Students in grades four through eight were able to meet and listen to five different speakers discuss the importance of goal setting, remaining in school, and the education and/or training required for his/her career. In addition, the speakers spoke with the students about a typical day in his/her career. It was a wonderful experience for all involved, and plans are already underway for next year's event. Career Day organizers were Michelle J. Hudgens, School Counselor and Dr. Tangie Crowell, Language Arts Teacher.
