Time to Immunize-Important State Mandatory Law

Reflections of a Cadet JROTC Summer Camp 2010

Get up! Get up!  Formation at 0530, PT clothes.  Get up! Get moving!  You have 30 minutes before you are late.That is how I started my first full day at Summer Camp, although that is not the name the Instructors use.  The Instructors call it the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge or JCLC.  It seems there is an acronym for everything in the army.  PT is physical training.  I'll soon find out what PT really means.Sleepy, but dressed in shorts, t-shirt and my...

Murphy Student gives back with books

Murphy High School student Elexis Stallworth wants to give back to her community. She will be doing just that at Books a Million in Bel Air Mall June 20th from  1-4.Three years ago, Elexis had been nominated by one of her teachers to attend the Junior National Youth Leadership conference in Washington D.C. and represent Murphy High and Mobile .
