Montgomery High school receives Pacesetter High School award

Special Education Preschool Programs

The Mobile County Public School System provides services to preschool children with special needs. We have 22 special education preschool programs throughout the system. We also contract with Little Tree Preschool, Goodwill Easter Seals, and United Cerebral Palsy to provide services in their preschool programs.   Thank you Booth parent, Lisa Eldridge, for facilitating the acquisition of the beautiful new bright blue mulch for our school’s playground. According to Booth Principal, Ms. Williams, Booth children are thrilled… they love the beautiful, happy color!   Crenshaw Gymnasium Denton Middle School is proud to recognize Mr. Henry T. Crenshaw. Mr. Crenshaw worked for the Mobile County Public Schools for 35 years as a very dedicated and nurturing coach and teacher. Castlen student raises funds for school library

      Fourth grader, Kayla Shish, attends Castlen Elementary School. Kayla is an avid reader and enjoys reaching her Accelerated Reader goal every quarter. Recently, Kayla had trouble finding books in the school library that she hasn’t read yet. With continuing budget cuts the selection in the media center hasn’t changed all that much over the years.
