Mobile County Public Schools operates mcpssTV, a 24-hour channel that features news and information about Alabama’s largest school district as well as educational programming.

mcpssTV broadcasts live high school football, graduation ceremonies, monthly meetings of the Mobile County Board of School Commissioners, spelling bees, HiQ matches, fine arts programs, the annual It Starts With Us awards. Shows include our flagship Inside Education program, Parent Connect, Safe Schools, Tech Talk, First Bell, MCPSS Athletics, and more.

Our quality programming has received recognition from the National School Public Relations Association, the Southern Public Relations Federation and the Public Relations Council of Alabama.  

mcpssTV operates under the direction of TV Manager Quintin Howard and Director of Communication Rena Philips and is part of the Department of Communication.
